
Agreements in various fields were signed by representatives of Cuban companies with the platform of the Chinese Industrial Park in Latin America (PICLA), Prensa Latina reported on April 16.
Among the areas in which contracts were awarded, the Cuban agency mentioned transportation and construction. It is also reported that PICLA has already secured the supply of containers with fertilizers and transportation equipment to Cuba.
The Granma newspaper clarified that the director of PICLA, Juan Quia Min, announced that 40 containers with materials, fertilizers and mechanical bicycles were sent to Cuba. He highlighted that the bicycles will be sold at a more economical price compared to current prices in the Cuban market. It is also planned to supply the Cuban domestic market with tableware, including glass and household items.
In addition, the Dr. Carlos Juan Finlay University of Medical Sciences of Cuba has delivered a letter of intent for future agreements with PICLA.

Recall that the Latin American Andrei Pyatakov in his Telegram channel “Latin American Horizons” reported on the possible launch date of the PICLA commercial platform in 2025.
