Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Leslie Viguery on February 1, reports the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, joint plans for 2023, and stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the political, trade and economic areas.” – says the message. Details of the negotiations are not specified.
Recall that Viguerie was appointed by US President Joe Biden on February 25, 2022 and took office on December 30, 2022. New to the US, he is known to speak Russian, Hindi, Portuguese and has a bachelor’s degree from Juris Doctor.
