The site has been prepared for the first interregional compensation contract for a crushed stone production plant at the Sitozerskoye field, the press service of the Government of Karelia reported on the official Internet portal on April 17.
The Sitozersky Quarry company is actively constructing and installing a new plant for the production of high-quality crushed stone at the Sitozerskoye deposit in the Kondopoga region of Karelia. The construction is carried out within the framework of the execution of a compensation contract for the supply of crushed stone between the Republic of Karelia and Moscow.
“The site is already prepared and an important part of the metal structures has been assembled. Actual investments in the project have already exceeded 600 million rubles.””said the head of Karelia, Artur Parfenchikov.
The contract provides for reciprocal investment obligations of the supplier-investor to create or modernize production in Karelia. The total investment in the project will amount to more than 1.5 billion rubles and the creation of about 140 jobs is planned.
Recall that on March 11, the Ministry of Economic Development of Karelia announced the signing of a compensation contract for the supply of crushed stone to Moscow in the amount of more than 61 billion rubles. The governments of both regions guaranteed the supply and purchase of around 13.7 million tons of crushed stone for 10 years.
An offset contract allows a company to invest in production without risk due to guaranteed sales of products. Several participants competed to obtain the right to implement the project. It was reported that the winner was Bioen Trade LLC, which will invest 1.5 billion rubles over the next three years. in the creation or modernization of a company for the production of crushed stone in Karelia.
