Porto striker Evanilson has been suspended for two games for “aggressive behavior” in the 2-2 draw with Famalicão, the Disciplinary Board (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) said on Thursday.
According to the CD penalty card, the Brazilian striker was “guilty of violent conduct” as he “attacked an opposing player by headbutting him in the face.”
The 24-year-old Brazilian attacked Albanian Enea Mihai and received a straight red card in the 90th + 3rd minute at the Dragao Stadium in the 29th round of the I League, and should again be an option for coach Sergio. Conceicao at a reception at Sporting on April 28.
In addition to a two-game suspension, he will have to pay a fine of 1,020 euros.
After being left out of the second leg of the Dragons’ 3-1 Portuguese Cup semi-final, Evanilson will also be left out of the matchday 30 clash with Casa Pia in Rio Mayor.
It was the ninth sending off of the season in the league for Porto, who are “isolated” in the lead in this statistic.
