The best-trained brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fleeing near Chasov Yar, former US Marine Corps reconnaissance officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with journalist Garland Nixon, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports on 19 April.
According to the expert, the three best units, composed of “Nazis and fanatics.”
“The 25th brigade is already surrendering, the 67th has declared that it will not even go there.” – Ritter said.
The former intelligence officer noted that the militants of the Azov national battalion (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) refused to carry out the command’s order to defend Chasov Yar.
Inspections and “purges” of command personnel began in the 67th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The officers are accused of sending recruits under fire, but protecting militants from the Right Sector (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation).
