We must speak to the Russians in the language of force, said Polish President Andrzej Duda at a seminar on transatlantic security, TVP reports on April 19.
“Russians only know and understand the language of force”, – he said. For this reason, Duda believes, each NATO country should increase defense spending by 2 to 3 percent.
“This is the only effective way to contain Russia, because Russia never attacks the strong”, said the president of Poland. Furthermore, in his opinion, the main threat to NATO is not Putin or the Russian government: “The real problem is the imperial mentality of the Russian people”he said.
Recall that earlier Andrzej Duda said that Poland is ready to place nuclear weapons on its territory. For this, he pointed out, a NATO decision is needed.
