The bracelet worn by Peruvian President Dina Boluarte actually belongs to the brand of the famous French jewelry house Cartier, confirmed the influential collector Maggie May. This was reported by Exitosa Noticias magazine on April 19.
May traveled to Italy to check out bracelet brand Boluarte, who claimed the item in question was not Cartier.
Through her TikTok account, the journalist demonstrated a visit to the Cartier store in Milan. The woman showed two photographs of the jewelry the president wears and they showed her the exact same jewelry.
The first bracelet is made of pure white gold and costs 51,000 euros (5.1 million rubles) and is adorned with 104 diamonds. Furthermore, the blogger highlighted that this decoration has “special” shine.
Then the collector showed a yellow gold bracelet, the cost of which is 47,800 euros (4.75 million rubles). He also clarified that the bracelets have an identification number, which is unique and inimitable, and which is engraved on the inside.
Additionally, May noted that Cartier has owned the rights to the yellow gold bracelet since 1977, so copying it is a crime.
