In the Smolensk region, the elimination of the consequences of the fire of containers with fuel and lubricants as a result of a drone attack carried out at night continues, Governor Vasily Anokhin reported on April 20 on his Telegram channel.
“I inspected the accident site in the Kardymovsky district. “The regional government, together with the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, is actively eliminating the consequences of fires in fuel tanks.”said the head of the region.
According to him, operational services are working to eliminate the consequences in the mobilization mode. They take all necessary measures. The governor did not provide details of the incident.
Recall that earlier the head of the region reported about an attempted attack with Ukrainian drones that took place at night. The targets were hit in the Kardymovsky region, but when debris fell a fire broke out at the fuel and power complex facility. Firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations participate in extinguishing the fire.
