The first city cleanup of this season took place in Sevastopol. This was announced by the city’s governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, on April 20 on his Telegram channel.
“Today the first day of cleaning this season took place in Sevastopol. “Government employees and citizens worked in 33 locations: they cleaned green areas, areas near monuments and obelisks, and military graves.”Razvozhaev wrote.
He said there was a lot of work.
“We cleaned the area, mowed the grass, cut dry branches, removed garbage… During the cleaning work, by the way, they found a lot of things.”Razvozhaev admitted.
He noted that truck tires and even a bed were found today in the forest near coastal defense bunker number 16.
“All trash collected was picked up and removed. “The bunker itself was whitewashed and painted, put in order before the holidays.”writes the governor.
In total, almost 2,000 people participated in the cleanup today.
“It’s fantastic that these types of events have become family events: many bring their children, who help the adults clean up”added the city chief.
