The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation proposed to introduce additional indicators for monitoring technical inspection of vehicles, as reported on the portal of draft regulatory laws on April 20.
According to the draft order of the Ministry of the Interior, when carrying out a technical inspection, items related to the tachograph or control device that records the driver’s work and rest hours will be added to the list of risk indicators for non-compliance with the requirements mandatory.
The draft order also talks about the need to control the facts of introduction of false photographs of vehicles in the Unified Automated Information System for Technical Inspection (UAISTO) and the facts of incorrect signing of diagnostic cards by specialists technicians of inspection operators.
We remind you that the list of risk indicators for violation of technical inspection requirements is regulated by the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated December 13, 2021 No. 1025.
Tachographs are mandatory on trucks over 3.5 tons and on buses.
