The maximum level of the Ishim River is expected to arrive in the near future, Alexander Moor from the Tyumen region said on April 21 on his Telegram channel.
“The flood situation in the Tyumen region remains tense. The Ishim River in the city exceeded 10.5 meters. The increase per day is 140 centimeters. The intensity has decreased, we expect a maximum in the near future.”the governor wrote.
According to him, specialists constantly monitor the condition of hydraulic structures.
“The wave moves downstream along Ishim. The level in the Abatsk area is rising – 64 centimeters more. We predict a peak here in three days. The level of the Tobol River is rising. “We are waiting for the arrival of large quantities of water from Kurgan to Uporovo.””Moore clarified.
At the same time, a decrease in water levels is occurring in the Kazan district of the Tyumen region.
Please note that the flood in the Tyumen region began on April 8. According to meteorologists, the peak of the flood is expected between April 23 and 25.
