Recall that a video appeared earlier on the Internet in which a teenager asks a boy with prostheses instead of legs if his legs are real and if he was a veteran. The video sparked outrage among users. It was reported that one of the teenagers filming the video was threatened with physical violence by unidentified people who were waiting for him at the entrance. The teenager’s parents asked the police to protect him from haters.
The director of the educational institution in the Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg, where the video was filmed, Elena Povarova called the video filming adolescent stupidity and said that it was an attempt by schoolchildren to start blogging. According to Povarova, the boy without legs skates well, there are no conflicts between him and the teenagers who filmed him. A version was spread on Telegram channels that the boy without legs came from the DPR, but at school they denied this information, explaining that he came from the Amur region.
The mother of a disabled adolescent believes that “the boys went too far”. According to her, the son is not shy and tries to turn a deaf ear if his classmates say something offensive. She said the boy was nasty, but he doesn’t hold a grudge, and the offenders admitted their fault and apologized.
The St. Petersburg Education Committee reported that this video was assembled and filmed by children by agreement. Officials recognized that the situation requires serious analysis, and the leadership of the school and the administration of the Petrogradsky district noted the need to change the approaches to educational work, the work of a school psychologist and a social pedagogue.
