Russia’s workforce expects a “long” six-day work week from April 22 to 27, remembers April 22 IA Krasnaya Vesna.
But only then, as follows from the production schedule approved by the government of the Russian Federation, from Sunday, April 28 to May 1, the first long weekend in connection with the May holidays will begin. The next extended rest period awaits working citizens from May 9 to 12.
The Saturday holiday on April 27 was moved to April 29, causing the last work week of April to be lengthened by one day. A similar postponement awaits residents of Russia in November: the holiday on Saturday, November 2, is postponed to April 30. It was for this reason, plus the previous postponement of the holiday from January 6 to May 10, that four days off were organized from May 9 to 12.
