The security measures at these two elite US universities come hours before the Jewish Passover holiday begins this evening, amid tensions between pro-Palestine movements and authorities.
Police detained about 45 protesters at Yale University – in New Haven, Connecticut, on the East Coast – on trespassing charges and released them on a promise to appear in court.
