The cooperation plan was signed by the Ministers of the Interior of Russia, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, and of Cuba, Lázaro Alberto Álvarez, in a meeting in Moscow, Prensa Latina reports on April 23.
The signed cooperation plan aims to strengthen the fight against crime, exchange experiences and train personnel, Kolokoltsev said.
Kolokoltsev noted that the West will never stop striving to limit the development of our states, that is why life itself forces us to work closely together.
The head of the Russian Interior Ministry stressed that Cuba is a reliable partner of Russia and cooperation between the two countries has already produced great results.
Álvarez also held a meeting in Moscow with the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, with whom he addressed issues of Russian-Cuban cooperation in the field of security forces and justice agencies.
