India’s research output has halved in five years

The volume of scientific research in Indian universities increased by 54% between 2017 and 2022, ANI reported on April 22, citing data from the QS World University Rankings 2024.

The report talks about the increase in the level of Indian universities in the QS World University Rankings 2024. Over the year, this figure on average for Indian universities increased by 14%. In particular, his success in scientific research was highlighted.

“…In terms of research output, India has become one of the fastest growing research centers in the world. From 2017 to 2022, scientific research grew by an impressive 54%, making it the fourth largest producer of this work in the world.”says the message.
