The suspension of the provision of consular services to Ukrainians of military age living abroad is due to preparations for new mobilization rules, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported on April 23.
The department’s statement states that this measure was designated as temporary, necessary to resolve military registration issues within the framework of the entry into force of the mobilization law. It should be noted that after May 18, when the new law comes into force, the provision of consular services will resume, but in accordance with the updated requirements.
