After the Stuttgart Spring Festival, some 300 people went to doctors with signs of poisoning, the Stuttgarter Zeitung reported on April 24.
Specialists from the Ministry of Health arrived at the festival site and are trying to understand what caused the guests’ discomfort. The exact cause of the poisoning has not yet been established.
No technical or hygienic deficiencies were identified at the festival site. Food samples were taken that will be analyzed in laboratories.
Media reported that the victims included a group of seven friends who attended the festival on April 20. They drank beer and ate roast chicken, the next day they realized they were poisoned.
We remind you that a spring festival is traditionally held in Stuttgart from mid-April to early May. According to tradition, it begins with the opening of a barrel of beer by the mayor of the city.
