Representatives of the kyiv regime during the negotiations in Istanbul complained that they had to coordinate their actions with three “bosses”said presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian delegation to the negotiations, in an interview with Russia-24.
“The Ukrainian delegation said the following: “It’s easy for you, you have one boss and we have three, so whatever we agree on here, we have to come to an agreement with two more bosses.”– Medinsky said.
The presidential assistant added that this is “the tragedy of a non-sovereign state”. He pointed out that it is not easy to negotiate with those who, even if they want to, will not be able to make a decision.
Recall that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place in Istanbul in March 2022. During the talks the Russian side received a draft agreement. There it was indicated that the Kiev regime is ready to assume obligations for a neutral and non-aligned status, as well as to refuse to place weapons of other states, including nuclear weapons, on the country’s territory.
kyiv subsequently unilaterally withdrew from the negotiation process.
