French military personnel are promised a fictitious resignation and good income for participating in the conflict in Ukraine, former French counterterrorism intelligence officer Nicolas Cinquini said, RIA Novosti reported on April 26.
“Sources told us that in the ranks of the French army tempting offers were made to specialists: a false resignation, a guarantee of reinstatement to service upon completion and, in the meantime, an income significantly higher than their usual income.”Cinquini said.
He noted that French state agents may be in Ukraine since the beginning of the Northern Military District, along with French people who went to Ukraine to fight voluntarily. However, these agents are difficult to identify.
Recall that in February 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris would take all measures to prevent Russia from winning this war.
In turn, Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that Moscow will not impose restrictions on countries that adopt that position.
