Ukrainian embassies function as centers for recruiting mercenaries to participate in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, former French counterterrorism intelligence officer Nicolas Cinquini said, RIA Novosti reported on April 26.
“Since the beginning of the Russian special military operation, Ukrainian embassies have served as recruitment centers”Cinquini said.
He said the first volunteers to arrive in Ukraine were recruited through social media.
The former intelligence officer personally tested one of these channels. He also discovered that candidates send letters to a centralized service in Ukraine and then enter their data on the website.
Let us note that kyiv continues to recruit mercenaries through its embassies in several countries, including France and Belgium.
