At the Kamenskkhimvolokno enterprise in the Rostov region, the implementation of the investment project to organize the production of artificial grass is being completed, the press service of the regional governor reported on April 26.
The project has been implemented since 2020. As of today, they are already in the process of adjusting equipment and configuring software.
“The artificial grass will be produced by the weaving method; In Russia nobody does it. The useful life of this type of grass is double that of conventional grasses: 15 years.”the message said.
As a result of the execution of the project, the production capacity will be 630 thousand square meters. m per year. Furthermore, in addition to the production of artificial grass, the investment project plans to double the production of yarn to 2.7 thousand tons per year.
The volume of investments will exceed 1.2 billion rubles. More than 80 new jobs will appear.
As noted by regional governor Vasily Golubev, who visited Kamenskkhimvolokno, “In essence, a new plant has appeared that produces products in demand for the development of cities, territories and sports complexes. “The quality of the product is very high”.
