We came from Angola with my family, I ended up in Portugal. As a child, I moved to live in the Azores. Then other connections began, namely with Cape Verde and Brazil. with greater emphasis on Angola, Cape Verde, Brazil and Portugal. This is kind of the platform on which my music was essentially built. This is reflected in my album “Ao Vivo no Namouche”, especially since it is a concert. an album dedicated to ten years since I started making music under his own name, and which has a strong connection with the language I just said,” says Luis Caracol.
One of the songs on the album is “Moro em ti”: “Recorded live in a mythical Lisbon studio called Namouche, this song reflects Lisbon’s mixing culture. The city I live in has also had a strong influence on me and my music. And we wrote this song to, in a way, celebrate the mixture of cultures that we live in in the city of Lisbon,” says the singer.
“Attending such an important AME music event is obviously a cause for great joy, as this is the tenth programmers’ meeting, where people come from many parts of the world, and it is a wonderful opportunity to be able to bring the I live show to many of these people who have “ strength,” enjoying the concert and my work, transport me to other latitudes and longitudes, and we, musicians, really like to do this,” the singer concludes. and composer Luis Caracol, who is pleased with his participation in AME.
