However, later the woman, who was already at home at that time, realized the seriousness of what she had done, regretted it and decided to call the police and tell about what she had done. Ironically, her call was answered at the police station while a young pregnant woman, who had to first go to hospital for medical attention, was filing a complaint about the violence she had suffered.
The confessed perpetrator of the crime told the astonished policeman that she was not a thief and that it was all just a joke, added that she did not keep the stolen items, and told the policeman where she left the victim’s wallet and cell phone.
