The decree “On the development of the creative economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” was signed by the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev, the press service of the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the government of the Republic from Sakha (Yakutia) reported on April 28.
The main goals for the development of the creative economy of the region are to increase the number of people employed in the creative industries to 70 thousand people by 2030.
The gross value added of the creative sector will double during this period compared to the 2023 level.
To this end, specialized regional measures will be created and expanded to support creative industries, including export-oriented ones, the income of the Yakut film industry will be increased, and the volume of content and audience for animation products will be significantly increased. Mobile and computer games and musical works created by Yakut authors will be guaranteed.
Let us recall that the Concept for the development of creative industries and mechanisms for the implementation of their state support until 2030 (hereinafter – the Concept) defines the goals, objectives, priorities, principles, directions and mechanisms of state support for creative industries . in the Russian Federation.
For the purposes of this Concept, the following concepts are used:
– The “creative economy” is a type of economy based on the capitalization of intellectual property in all areas of human activity: scientific, scientific and technical, cultural and creative in general. The core of the creative economy is the creative industries;
— “creative cluster”: interconnected organizations and companies located on the territory of compactly located real estate objects. Creative clusters are developed by a management company under a single brand and unite residents of creative industry sectors, creative entrepreneurship entities in general, have the necessary infrastructure for creative and entrepreneurial activities, are a center for creators and consumers. of creative products and have a positive impact on the territory of their presence.
