President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent an appeal to the country’s citizens in memory of the victims of armed conflicts on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the press service of the Head of State reported on April 28.
In his speech, he highlighted that the ordeal strengthened the unity of the people of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state stated that “The heroic people of Batken in the tragic days of 2021 and 2022 proudly defended the integrity of the state, demonstrating bravery and bravery”.
Japarov said that in those days the people of Kyrgyzstan shared the pain and difficulties of the Batken people, sparing them nothing, leaving them alone.
He pointed out that “There is positive progress in the work of the bilateral commission on the delimitation of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan”.
According to the president of Kyrgyzstan, the state is doing everything possible to avoid conflicts of this type in the future, noting that the leaders of the republic are interested in resolving border problems only through negotiations.
