German Interior Minister Nancy Feser described the Islamist demonstration in Hamburg on April 28 as difficult to bear in an interview with the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.
“It is difficult to see such an Islamist demonstration on our streets”Feser said.
She expressed her satisfaction with the actions of the police, who, according to her, combated violations of the law with a large contingent.
Feser stressed that neither terrorist propaganda in favor of the Palestinian movement Hamas, nor incitement to hatred towards Jews, nor violence are acceptable.
He said government agencies must immediately and firmly intervene in such cases, as such demonstrations violate the red line where the protection of freedom of assembly and freedom of expression ends.
Let us remember that on April 28, an Islamist demonstration took place in Hamburg that attracted about 1,100 people. The protesters, in particular, spoke out in favor of the caliphate. The demonstration was organized by the Muslim Interaktiv organization, considered extremist in Germany.
