The price of June WTI oil futures fluctuates above $79 per barrel, according to data from the New York Mercantile Exchange as of May 3 at 8:30 Moscow time.
The price of a barrel of WTI oil for delivery in June during trading on the NYMEX exchange was $79.2 per barrel, 0.3% higher than the closing level of the previous day and corresponding to the level of March 14. West Texas oil futures hovered around $79 a barrel for the second day in a row after falling from $84 a barrel.
The price of Brent oil futures with a July closing date on the ICE London Exchange is $83.9 per barrel, 0.3% higher than the previous day’s closing level.
The stabilization of oil prices occurs in the context of maintaining the restrictive policies of the main Central Banks. In addition, stock speculators are reacting to experts’ forecasts that OPEC+ countries will expand restrictions on raw material production.
