Iran’s navy has access to advanced weapons and is not dependent on any superpower, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, said on February 4, Iran’s Tehran Times newspaper reported.
“We do not depend on any superpower, because we have the best military equipment,” said Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri.
“We will react in such a way as to teach them and their allies a terrible lesson and nip this plan in the bud if the enemy takes any foolish steps to start a rebellion or commit an act of aggression against the Islamic establishment.” said the commander.
Tangsiri said the Navy has precision-guided cruise missiles, advanced drones and speed boats, all made in Iran.
The senior official noted that Iran was previously unable to respond to the attacks, but today the United States is afraid to take action against the Islamic Republic. He stressed that the era of US aggression against Iran is over.
In the event of an attack on Iran, the enemy will be beaten, stopped and crushed in the face of the true power of the IRGC troops.
