A criminal case was opened against a local resident suspected of treason and working for Ukrainian military intelligence in Primorye, this was reported on May 5 on the Telegram channel of the anti-terrorist commission of the Primorsky Territory.
According to the department, the man collected information about the region’s military infrastructure and then transmitted it to Ukrainian intelligence. At the same time, the suspect was fully aware that the kyiv regime could use this data against Russia’s security.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under the article of high treason. The man is currently in custody.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that a citizen of the Far East has been detained under the article “High Treason.” In the last two years there have been several similar arrests in Sakhalin and the Khabarovsk Territory. Furthermore, this is not an isolated case in the Primorsky Territory.
