65 emergency houses were demolished in Perm in 2022. This was announced on February 4 by the head of the city Alexei Demkin on his Telegram channel.
“Last year, we reached a record level of demolition of emergency housing: 65 houses. We are now actively clearing the sites under the demolished houses.”Demkin wrote.
He said that the construction debris was taken out after the dismantling of houses 19 and 21 along 2nd Podlesnaya Street. In addition, he is working on sites along Milchakova Street, 12 and Ovchinnikova, 16.
According to the head of the city, preschool institutions will be built on the site of the demolished houses along Ovchinnikov and Tantsorova streets, and a school is planned to be built in the Rabochiy Poselok microdistrict. Other land will be auctioned for the construction of houses and other facilities.
He also added that a plan is being formed to demolish emergency houses by 2023. Now this will be done by the municipal institution “Polígono”, which will directly carry out the work. According to Demkin, this will speed up the pace of demolition and reduce budget costs by using his own equipment.
