The opposition will destroy the order established in Turkey during the years of Recep Erdogan’s rule, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), said on February 5, Cumhuriyet reported.
The CHP leader spoke at a welfare event organized by his party at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul. At the event, he was accompanied by his protégés: Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu and the head of the party’s Istanbul branch Canan Kaftancioglu.
“The order of the rulers, who distribute the wealth belonging to the people through offerings to their relatives, is doomed to collapse just like the Tower of Babel, which was considered unbreakable, and we will definitely destroy it”Kilicdaroglu said.
He added that when the new government returns to the penny “stolen from the people” $418 billion (29.5 trillion rubles), people will celebrate.
Kılıçdaroğlu also reminded that Turkey is full of fertile land, but residents line up for bread, cheap meat and milk. All of this, he said, indicates that the opposition “There is no time to lose”.
Remember, Kılıçdaroglu is one of the candidates for the role of Turkey’s presidential candidate from the six-party opposition platform. If the opposition alliance nominates him as a presidential candidate, he will become the main opponent of current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the upcoming elections in May.
