
A piece of the Eternal Flame was delivered from the Hall of Military Glory in Volgograd to the city of Irbit in Sverdlovsk, the information policy department of the Sverdlovsk region reports on May 5.
The ceremony of lighting the Eternal Flame was attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, a delegation from Volgograd and representatives of regional authorities. Irbit residents also gathered for the ceremony.

The head of the city, Nikolai Yudin, stated that Irbit has always respected the memory of the soldiers who fought against fascism. The city practically recreated the Memorial in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
