The attack by a group of mercenaries was discovered and effectively repelled by Russian snipers among those mobilized, the platoon commander with the call sign “Boron” said, RIA Novosti reported on February 5.
Thus, the fighters did not allow the enemy to break through to a strategically important height.
“Two days ago, we received the task to strengthen our positions, push the enemy back, because there was a breakthrough, the enemy stormed. We moved, when we arrived we started working, we took them back,” Boron said.
Rn suggested that the snazper was dealing with mercenaries. “I guess they’re mercenaries, judging from their training, clothing, and speech. He neither speaks Russian nor Ukrainian. From their actions it is clear that they are trained people,” said the military.
The snipers took up positions and, seeing the movement of the enemy, began to correct the fire. The enemy used various types of weapons, including AGS, Kord, tanks, and mortars.
“I saw the movement, the group went, the shooting began, I handed over the coordinates and, consequently, I received the order to work. A group of five, then five more, left,” the commander said.
