“There will be a significant improvement in the weather over the coming days, as well as a significant recovery in temperatures. Temperatures will start to rise on Tuesday and rise again on Wednesday, reaching more than 30 degrees in some places,” he said.
According to a meteorologist at the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), there could still be light rain and a drop in minimum temperatures this Monday until the end of the morning.
“On Tuesday we will see a rise of about five to six degrees, and on Wednesday it will rise again in the same order. The minimums will rise only on Wednesday, and a cold morning is expected today and Tuesday,” he indicated. .
According to Pedro Souza, maximum temperatures above 25 degrees are expected from Tuesday, equal to or above 30 in the Alentejo, Southern region and Tagus Valley.
“Temperatures are stable throughout the week and may see a downward trend over the weekend, but there doesn’t appear to be much change until at least Friday,” he said.
