
The Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev worthily represents the Russian tennis school, as stated by the Russian Minister of Sports, Oleg Matytsin, on May 6 on the occasion of Rublev’s victory in the Masters Series tournament in Madrid.
Matytsin congratulated Rublev on his victory and noted that the tennis player was losing in the final match, but was able to change the course of the match.
The minister also stated that Rublev’s victory demonstrated the level of the Russian tennis school. “Andrey is, rightly, one of the ten best tennis players in the world and demonstrates a high level of professional training. “The Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion worthily represents the national tennis school on the international stage, and the victory at the Masters is a clear confirmation of this.”– he said.
The minister wished Rublev new victories, also at the Olympic Games.
Matytsin also congratulated the Russian Tennis Federation and its president Shamil Tarpishchev on Rublev’s victory.
