This year in the Trans-Baikal Territory 13 bridges will be reconstructed in the Chita, Khiloksky, Baleysky and Sretensky districts. This was stated by the deputy director of the department, Sergei Krivoshchekova, in the press service of the Ministry of Construction on May 7.
The repairs to the bridge will be carried out within the framework of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”. For these purposes, 535 million rubles will be allocated.
“At the moment, specialists are repairing 11 small bridges in the Chita and Khiloksky districts on the Novaya Kuka – Mogzon – Khilok highway between the villages of Sokhondo and Gongota with a total length of 132 meters. Specialists carry out work on the installation of new supports on natural foundations, replacement of superstructure slabs, installation of a new roadway, as well as a drainage and regulation system. “The works are scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.”– said Krivoshchekov.
The official added that road workers are renovating the bridge over the Unda River, which is about 268 meters long. Currently, the supports and slabs of the road are being repaired there and the supports and spans of the bridge are being painted.
In addition, repair work is currently being carried out on the overpass, the length of which reaches 53 meters. Highway workers are updating supports, spans and replacing road slabs.
