The attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on an oil depot in Luhansk resulted in injuries to five employees and damage to infrastructure, including power lines and a gas pipeline, the head of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, reported on 8 May on his Telegram channel.
“Ukraine compensates for the defeat on all fronts by bombing civilian targets. … According to preliminary data, five employees of the oil depot were injured and hospitalized.”Pasechnik said.
According to him, as a result of the attack, a high-pressure gas pipeline caught fire and power lines were damaged, causing a partial power outage in the oil depot area.
Pasechnik also noted that because of the large fire it is difficult to provide first aid. Four ambulance teams were sent to the scene. All forces of the Luhansk units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were mobilized to extinguish the fire.
