The “Victory Marathon”, consisting of a series of events, will be held on Victory Day at the Sambek Heights folk museum in the Rostov region, the press service of the regional administration reported on May 8 .
“A special place among the museums of the Rostov region in May days is occupied by the Complex of the People’s Military-Historical Museum “Sambek Heights”. “The heroic events that took place on Don soil during the Great Patriotic War are reflected here.”the message said.
On May 9, the museum will host a series of events. This includes the III International Film Festival. In the evening, visitors will be able to watch the best films created on the basis of the ideas of humanism and that help preserve the continuity of generations.
From 11:00 to 16:00 the “Sambek Spring” concert program will take place, during which artists and creative groups from different regions of Russia, as well as from several friendly countries, will perform.
From 10:30 to 18:00, as part of the “Concert Marathon”, you can see performances by local artists, as well as groups from the DPR.
In addition, excursions to the permanent exhibition of the military history museum will be held every half hour.
