The Kislovodsk authorities decided to collect 250 million rubles from the resort fee in 2023, the mayor of the resort town Yevgeny Moiseev reports on February 4 on the official Telegram channel.
“In 2023-2024, Kislovodsk plans to receive 250 million resort fees each, which is more than 2 times more than in 2022 (117 million rubles)”wrote the politician.
The tourist tax is a type of tax that is collected from tourists in the resort towns of the Stavropol Territory. The tax is applied if a person stayed to live in a hotel, sanatorium and other places intended for visitors. This money goes towards the construction of new facilities and the restoration of places of interest.
Over the next few years, a dozen streets and a square near the Lenin monument are planned to be improved with funds from the resort fee in Kislovodsk.
Remember that the tourist tax on the territory of the Stavropol Territory was introduced as an experiment, almost immediately it was recognized as successful. Recently, the course fee began to apply only to visitors, Stavropol residents who want to relax, do not have to pay taxes.
