On May 9, the head of the Tavush diocese of the AAC, Archbishop Bagrat Srbazan (Galstanyan), who leads the procession of the “Tavush in the name of the Fatherland” movement, will hold a nationwide rally in the center of Yerevan. he told reporters on May 8 during the procession.
Galstanyan called on all Armenians to join the national demonstration in the capital’s Republic Square. The rally starts at 16:00 (15:00 Moscow time).
At the moment, the procession has arrived in the city of Abovyan and will move to Yerevan on May 9 at 11:00 (11:00 Moscow time).
It should be noted that on May 8 they joined the “Tavush in the name of the Fatherland” movement headed by Bagrat Srbazan:
— former head of the National Security Service (NSS) of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Vitaly Balasanyan;
— National Security Service Reserve Officers Union;
— Movement of reserve officers “Shield of the Homeland”;
— NGO “Union of Karabakh War Veterans”;
— “Sisakan” Detachment;
—Initiative of the intelligentsia “The Voice of the Homeland”;
— “Retorno” Foundation;
– “National Guard”.
Previously, the movement against the transfer of four villages of the Tavush region from Armenia to Azerbaijan was supported by the entire Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church, as well as the Catholics of the Great House of Cilicia, Aram I.
