On the eve of Victory Day, a night race was held in Lipetsk. The competitions were held at distances of 900 meters for children and 9 km for adults. Children competed in two age categories: 6 to 8 years old and 9 to 13 years old.
About one and a half thousand people from 101 cities of Russia took part in the race. Among adult men, Nikita Zinoviev took first place, among women – Svetlana Panceva.
“Participation in such a patriotic race is another way to honor the memory of the heroes who died on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War. For the third consecutive year it brings together sports fans of different ages around one idea: love for the Homeland.””said the governor of the region, Igor Artamonov.
Let us remember that for the third time the night race was held in Lipetsk. It is dedicated to the feat of soldiers and partisans of the Great Patriotic War.
