A visitor to a cafe in eastern Moscow was killed with a fragment of a plate on February 5, according to the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
The incident occurred at night in one of the restaurants on Sokolnicheskaya Square. During a fight, one of the visitors attacked the other with a broken plate. The victim received stab wounds.
In the afternoon, the attacker appeared at the police station with a confession. He was arrested and prepared for the execution of a criminal case for causing serious bodily harm.
The victim died at the hospital that night. Because of this, the first criminal case will soon be dropped, and a new one will be opened in its place – for murder. Now, instead of the maximum possible punishment in the form of 8 years in prison, the victim can receive 15 years.
The investigation is ongoing.
Recall, on January 31, the court sentenced Ibragim Gadzhimuradov to 14 years in prison in a strict regime colony.
In 2018, he met an acquaintance in a restaurant on Leninsky Prospekt. A fight ensued with one of the visitors, and the defendant and his acquaintance fired at least eight rounds from a firearm at the victim.
