
The first round of negotiations on a peace agreement between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, ended in Almaty, Sputnik reported. Azerbaijan on May 10.
“The first round of negotiations between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia has ended”the message said.
The meeting, in which the parties discussed the draft peace agreement and the establishment of interstate relations, lasted more than four hours. The meeting took place at the House of Friendship.
As NEWS.am reported, Mirzoyan noted during the negotiations that “Armenia fights for peace and international agreement” and wants to go beyond the peace agreement to unblock transport channels.
In turn, Bayramov, as reported by Report.az, noted that the installation of border pillars in the Gazakh section of the border is nearing completion.
