
Participants of the annual investment congress in the United Arab Emirates talked about the development of cooperation between the BRICS countries, broadcast on May 8 on the BRICS TV channel.
More than 100 ministers, mayors and central bank governors attended the 13th Annual Investment Congress in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Alexandra Burman, Head of International Projects at BRICS TV, moderated one of the sessions called “BRICS+ Business Forum”, in which the latest changes in the global economy were discussed.
Vladimir Platonov, president of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that there are several tools to help establish work between countries within the BRICS association. He commented on the development of cooperation between businessmen from the BRICS countries: “The task of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other structures is to create conditions so that everyone can easily get the contacts they need. “Everything necessary is being done to increase the number of such applications in the BRICS countries.”.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Roman Shaikhutdinov, also participated in the event.
The group, which today includes Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Ethiopia, plans to create an international payment system “BRICS Pay” based on blockchain technology, that is, based on digital assets.
