Next summer, more than 170 beaches will be open to tourists in Sochi, the resort’s director, Alexey Kopaygorodsky, reported on May 10 on his Telegram channel.
In preparation for the new holiday season, there will be lifeguards and security personnel on duty at each beach.
In accordance with the Year of the Family, declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin, additional sports facilities and various creative activities will be created on the coast so that families can have fun.
It should be noted that on the eve of the summer season, restoration work on the “Vzmorye” and “Bagration” beaches, damaged by the storm in November last year, was completed. These beaches now function as a single complex.
In addition, major work continues to improve the complex’s embankment, including the replacement of more than three thousand square meters of slabs.
All planned improvement activities are scheduled to be completed by the beginning of the summer season.
