The “Immortal Regiment” took place in Tashkent, Bukhara and Termez

Residents of Tashkent, Bukhara and Termez attended the international action “Immortal Regiment” on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Telegram channel “Immortal Regiment” reported on May 9. Tashkent”.

A report was published on the YouTube channel about the march of the “Immortal Regiment” in Tashkent.

It is highlighted that the procession of the “Immortal Regiment” is a tribute to the memory of the ancestors who won the war. In addition, the procession unites the residents of Tashkent and is a link of important historical values.

It should be noted that on May 9, at the monument to the “mass graves”, the Russian ambassador Oleg Malginov, the heads and military attachés of the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the SCO RATS and public organizations, journalists and residents of Tashkent laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, the Alley of Heroes and the steles of the hero cities.

The Surkhandarya Russian Cultural Center also announced the holding of the “Immortal Regiment” procession on May 9. Participants in the procession placed a wreath in front of the monument to the “Afflicted Mother.”

Bukhara Telegram channels organized an online “Immortal Regiment”. Residents posted photos of their ancestors and talked about their exploits.

It was also reported that during the Great Patriotic War 55,449 people from Bukhara went to the front, of which 176 were women. Only 28,146 returned from the battlefields; 27,303 Bukharans died in the battles.

But in the city of Kokand, in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan, school number 10 organized and held an “Immortal Regiment” procession. The residents of the city were very grateful to the school teachers who organized the event.
