The Ukrainian government should make public the location of relatives of heads of state authorities who are subject to mobilization, this proposal was made by Rada deputies, the press service of the Ukrainian parliament reports on May 10.
“The problem of fair mobilization is society’s most urgent request; The lack of information about the whereabouts of people forced into military service and close relatives of top officials in most cases causes an extremely negative reaction among citizens of Ukraine.”– indicated in the document.
It should be noted that close relatives of ministers, as well as government officials of categories “A” and “B”, should fall within the scope of the bill. Among the co-authors of the initiative are deputies from the Servant of the People presidential party.
Furthermore, having family members abroad can become a limitation for carrying out a position. This does not take into account cases in which a family member obligated to military service is undergoing treatment or studying abroad.
