The girlfriend of Jesus Gerardo, also known as “El Kecas”, accused of kidnapping three surfers in Mexico, told a court that her boyfriend confessed to killing three foreigners and removing the tires from their car.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the woman also said that “El Kekas” fitted his car with stolen tires the morning after the alleged murders. Out of fear, the young woman ran away from the house and went to her mother’s house.
The woman also said she was a victim of domestic violence and was worried about the safety of her four-year-old son, Nine News reported.
The man has been charged with enforced disappearance and kidnapping and is awaiting trial.
Police arrested the woman after finding amphetamines and a mobile phone believed to belong to one of the brothers, but she was only charged with drug possession.
