A strong cold wave is expected in the Rostov region on the night of Sunday, May 12, meteorologists reported on May 10.
Next Sunday night the air temperature in the Rostov region may drop to minus three degrees in the north of the region and no precipitation is expected.
The average air temperature in the region will gradually increase to plus twelve degrees.
Saturday will delight the residents of the region with even warmer air – up to plus twenty-two degrees during the day, and on Sunday the temperature will drop to plus nineteen. Next week, meteorologists predict a further drop in temperature to sixteen degrees more.
In addition, rain is expected on the night of Tuesday, May 14, which should end the following morning. A similar weather situation is forecast for Thursday night, when precipitation in the form of rain is also expected.
It is important to note that the Rostov region recently experienced the third strongest magnetic storm of 2024, which has drawn attention to the weather conditions in the region.
